4.16.20250106
4.16 Update vom
1.) It is now possible to send data to the JUMO Cloud without a JUMO variTRON or an installed Edge Gateway. More information can be found HERE.
2.) Version 4.16 makes the application even more flexible when dealing with multiple languages. User texts can now be stored in multiple languages. Both the “Name” and ‘Description’ of a configuration object now support multiple language variants. Example: If “Spanish” is selected as the language in a user's profile, the stored Spanish signal names and descriptions will be displayed.
More information under: Multilingual project planning

3.) Starting with version 4.16, the Widget: Document archive can be used. It displays all documents that have been inserted into a document group in the dashboard. In addition, documents can be uploaded, downloaded, renamed, or deleted. Users can also work with folders for a better overview.
Many formats such as .pdf, .gif, .mp4, .jpg, png, .xlsx or .json files can be viewed directly in the widget.

4.) Change in the “Cloud Gateway”: From now on you can use the cloud interface to set whether “Permanent live mode” is activated or not (deactivated by default). This is only possible starting with JUMO variTRON system version 8.4. Starting with system version 9, the input options in the “Cloud Gateway” will also disappear, as shown below. The “Permanent Live Mode” can now be set under ‘Data source’ and the “Sampling Rate” under “Data connection”.
This means that no direct connection to the device's network is required.

Configuration: “Data Source”

5.) It is now possible to display metadata for a batch both at “Start” and “Stop.” Previously, metadata was displayed at the ‘Start’ entry time but could not be edited. At the “Stop” entry time, editing was possible during the ongoing batch process, but the metadata was not visible.

6.) A newer, more intuitive Keycloak system has been implemented: Keycloak 25.0.6. In addition, the login area now includes a redesigned theme.
The Keycloak update in the JUMO Cloud will be announced and implemented in Q2 2025 with a brief downtime.

7.) You can now zoom in on process images. When you zoom in, a corresponding icon appears at the bottom right. Click on this icon to reset the zoom.
Press the “Ctrl” key and move the mouse wheel to zoom.

8.) Setting a target value is particularly easy on a desktop PC. However, if a touch panel or tablet is used, the external keyboard can make input difficult. In unfavorable cases, it can overlap the target value input field. To prevent this, an internal numpad has been integrated, which allows the target value to be entered within the software.
The numpad can be activated and closed with a click.

9.) From now on, invitations to a tenant and other “user feed” actions will be visible as pop-ups directly for the user.
Don't miss any more invitations 😉

10.) The Widget: Gauge Chart can now be displayed with a color gradient.

11.) The function Copy dashboard tab has been improved.
The master tab (initial tab) now shows how many linked tabs there are and where they are located.

12.) Previous values can now be displayed quickly and easily in the Widget: Manuel Data during input.
If, for example, a value has to be digitized daily, it is possible to see at a glance how the previous day's values were entered.

Previous day's value as info above the input

When entering the new value, several previous day's values appear
13.) The use of open source is now transparently listed under “Info.”

14.) Bug fix and system maintenance
