System Requirements

Supported operating systems

Basically, the software is installable on these systems: https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/

Docker Engine and Docker Compose are always required. On Window systems, Docker Desktop has to be installed (contains Engine and Compose)

JUMO only supports the following operating systems:

• Linux with 64-bit: Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 (LTS) → JUMO recommendation

• Windows 10 with 64-bit with version 22H2 (with activated WSL2 at least version 1.1.3.0 → Docker Desktop)

• Windows 11 with 64-bit with version 21H2 (with activated WSL2 at least version 1.1.3.0 → Docker Desktop)

The application can be used via a virtual machine with Microsoft Hyper-V (Generation 2) and VM Ware.

Minimum hardware requirement

• Quad Core with Hyper-Threading (4 cores, 8 logical processors)

• 16 GB RAM

• SSD hard drive
