Step 1: Report template data source

The following settings can be made:
Report
Function | Description |
---|---|
Name of the report | The name of the report is defined. |
Description | A short description of the report can be provided. |
Filename of the generated report | The filename of the report is defined. It is shown when downloading. Values such as the current day can be added using the "Variables" icon. ![]() Only characters from A to Z (upper case and lower case), digits from 0 to 9, and an underscore are permitted. |
Filename of the generated report with resolved variables | The filename of the generated report with resolved variables is generated automatically. The filename with resolved variables and the file ending are displayed. |
Why is the filename so important?
Fast filtering and recognition of the reports is enabled using the filenames.
Example: "2025_31_07_Clean Room 3.pdf"
The filename is composed of the variables "Year_month_day" and the device name. In the case of daily report generation, the dashboard reports are sorted chronologically by date.
Report template
Function | Description |
---|---|
Template selection | The "Template selection" button is used to integrate a report template provided by JUMO or one you have generated yourself. The report template suitable for a report depends on the report trigger. |
National language | The report national language is selected. |
File format | The file format can be selected depending on the report template. |
Dashboard as a data source
Function | Description |
---|---|
Dashboard selection | The "Dashboard selection" button is used to assign the report to be generated to a dashboard. The channels saved in the selected dashboard are used for this report. |
Step 2: Options

The timezone and the format for the date, time, and offset are selected using the relevant drop-down menus.
Step 3: Time range and trigger
The time for report generation and the time range for the report are defined in this step.

The example shows that one report of the last 8 hours is generated from Monday to Friday, while no report is generated on Saturday and Sunday.
The timeline shown represents the trigger and the complete time range. When hovering over the timeline, the start and end date of the daily report are displayed. This gives the user a quick overview of the set report.
The following settings can be made:
Function | Description | |
---|---|---|
Activation date | The date from which report generation is activated is entered. | |
Activation time | The time from which report generation is activated is entered. | |
Time zone | The time zone is selected. | |
Trigger | The trigger is selected. | |
The report triggering frequency per minute or second is defined. | ||
A specific point in time at which the report is triggered is selected. | ||
An event is defined as the start and end for report generation. | ||
An event is defined as the start and a further event as the end for report generation. | ||
A batch is defined as the trigger. One of the categorie "Batch" entries should be selected as a report template. | ||
Multiple batches are defined together as triggers. One of the categorie "Batches" entries should be selected as a report template. |
Trigger: Periodically and time
If the "Periodically" or "Time" trigger is selected, the trigger conditions can be defined via the drop-down menu.
Periodically:
The report triggering frequency per hour or minute is defined within the adjustable operating times.Time:
A specific time at which the report is to be triggered is selected. It can be triggered daily, monthly, or also only once.

Additional blocks with conditions for triggering can be added by clicking on the "Add block" icon. Additional triggering blocks can be removed using the "Delete block" icon.
The trigger conditions are shown graphically below.

Trigger: Event trigger and event begin/end
An event can be selected as a trigger for the report under "Event trigger" and "Event begin/end".
Event trigger:
A joint event for the start and end is defined.Event begin/end:
Different events are defined for the start and end.
Additional blocks with conditions for triggering can be added by clicking on the "Add block" icon. Additional triggering blocks can be removed using the "Delete block" icon.
A device space is selected using the drop-down menu. Depending on the trigger, one or two events during which report generation is started and ended, can be defined.

The following event types are available:
Alarm
Audit trail
Malfunction
Event
Module name, keywords, and event type are also selected via the relevant drop-down menu. The device defines the module name and keywords when generating an event.
Individual channels or entire groups can be selected using "Channels selection". If a group is checked, all associated channels are automatically selected. If "Only channels with the latest configuration" has been enabled beforehand, only channels that are part of the latest configuration are displayed.
Finally, how many minutes before the event report generation starts and how many minutes after the event it ends can be defined. Multiple events can also be defined.
Trigger: Batch
A batch can be selected as the trigger for the report under "Batch". To do so, a combination of batch application and device space must be selected using the "Batch configuration selection" button.
Each completed batch triggers a report.

Trigger: Batch – joint evaluation
A combined batch can be selected as the trigger for the report under "Batch – joint evaluation". To do so, a combination of batch application and device space must be selected using the "Batch configuration selection" button.
The batch ID that is used to combine the batches then has to be selected. If the contents of the batch ID are identical, the relevant batches are amalgamated.

Step 4: Data sources
Diagram

The appearance of the diagram in the report to be generated can be modified here. For example, settings including the channel color can be defined or a scale modified using the "Settings: Diagram" icon.
The setting options are described in detail in the "Diagram widget" section.
Process values

The individual channels of the dashboard for outputting the report can be modified under "Process values". If, for example, only the maximum values of the analog signals are to be output, the contents can be modified by clicking the relevant column and "Change column X" icon.

The heading lines 1 to 5 are available for the process value table. They display the group name, the signal name, the cell content (avg, min, max, etc.), the channel color, and the signal unit as standard.

The heading lines can be customized using the following parameters:
Free text entry
Name of device space
Device fabrication number
Group name
Signal name
Signal unit
Channel color
Cell content
The process data is displayed cyclically under the heading line. The following contents of a channel can be selected:
Value | Meaning | Comment |
---|---|---|
Current value | Value at the end of the sampling period. | – |
Average value | Average of all values within the sampling period. | – |
