Administration Basics

The Administration of a Tenant includes general Settings / information, a Control Operation Archive, an Overview about the number of Signals and Data Sources used, and User Management including the Roles and Rights and all Sub-clients.

For Clients, a basic distinction is made between "Administration Clients" and "Normal Clients":

Administration of a "Normal Client" - with Dashboards

Administration of an "Administration Client" - without Dashboards

Overview

Basic Configuration

The Basic Configuration window is used to customize and display the name, payment method, and an optional description of the Client. The Payment Method item currently only serves as an overview and can provide support in payment and accounting functions.

Configuration Basics

User Management

The User Management area provides an overview of all users of the Client. Here, as the Administrator of the Client, you can set the access rights and roles of the users, view legacy users, invite new users and view pending invitations and requests.

Limits

Limits are for limiting the signals and data sources within a Client. Limits allows you to set an upper limit for signals and data sources, if required. Once saved, this upper limit cannot be exceeded. The window provides an overview of the maximum number, signals and data sources used and assigned to sub-clients.

Limits and Quota

Clients

The Tenants area provides an overview of all sub-clients of the selected Client. Sub-clients can be managed via this window. Here you can change the name, description and quota, move a Client or set it to inactive. You can also add new sub-clients. In the process, the users of the parent client are also inherited by the new, child client (only access rights are inherited).

For data protection reasons, the rights to access the Dashboard Basics, Configuration and Commisioning of the sub-client (User Management) must always be granted again separately for sub-clients. Only the option to access the administration (access rights) is automatically inherited.
