Archiving

JUMO smartWARE Evaluation
Home / Setup/data overview / Datastore / Datastore system: storage 1 / Archiving

The required memory capacity of JUMO smartWARE Evaluation increases constantly due to the inclusion of new process data.

Archiving can be used to limit the required memory capacity on the system disk. Older process data (cold data) is moved to another storage device here and saved there as frozen data. The process data on the system disk (cold data) is removed in this process.

The archived data can be restored at any time and is then available again as cold data in the system.

Archiving per device

image-20250710-081811.png

The data archived per month is listed in detail by day in the bottom area. The relevant data area appears when hovering over a certain day.

Using the "Provide data from day.month.year" button, the archived data from the selected day can be provided again as cold data in the Datastore. The restore occurs in the background. While the data from one day is restored, the restore for other days can be started at the same time.

The current progress can be seen using the status "being restored" and "restored". Restored data still remains in the archive. The data provided as cold data in the Datastore is automatically removed after 48 hours.

The view can be reloaded at any time using the "Update" icon.
