Notifications
The user is notified about certain events such as error messages or status messages. Optionally, the notification can also be sent by email.
A message can be called up for 30 days, even after it has been read. Notifications that are older than 30 days are automatically deleted.
Filter
When opening notifications, users can select whether only unread messages or all messages are to be displayed. If "Only show unread" is checked, all categories that do not contain any unread messages are disabled.

The following three icons can be used to define which categories of messages are to be displayed:
Icon | Meaning |
---|---|
![]() | Error |
![]() | Warning |
![]() | Info |
Multiple categories can be selected simultaneously. If a category is not displayed, the relevant icon is highlighted in white.
The most recently selected settings are automatically saved for the current user.
Categories
The notifications are divided into various categories:
Disk storage
Data import
Data backup
Archiving
Reporting
Installation
Other
Categories without any notifications are disabled.
Displaying notifications
If there are unread messages, a green dot with a number appears next to the category. The relevant category can be expanded so that the individual messages can be displayed and read. The most recent message is displayed first.

The "Mark all as read" command can be used to mark all messages within a category as read. In this case, the dot is shown in gray and the number is reduced automatically to the number of remaining unread messages. If a message is to be marked as unread again, the gray dot is turned back to green by clicking on it and the message is shown as unread accordingly.

A maximum of 20 notifications are displayed. Further messages can be displayed using the "Load more" command if there are more than 20 notifications.
Additional details regarding the message are displayed if the message is clicked on.

You can use the "Back to notifications" command to return to the notification overview. The previously viewed message is automatically marked as read.
If there is an error message due to an incorrect report job, a link to jump to the relevant report job also appears. If information regarding a successfully created report is displayed, it can be displayed directly or downloaded.
Settings
The "Settings" icon can be used to define what category of messages the user wants to receive email notifications for. Multiple categories can be selected simultaneously here.
The frequency of email sending can be set using a drop-down menu. The following intervals are available: every 15 minutes, once an hour, or once a day.

The email address saved by the logged-in user is used. It can be viewed and changed if necessary in the user management.
