User management

The management of users, roles and rights currently only takes place in the Web Cockpit on the variTRON. To save and port the settings, the user management must either be saved via a configuration file or read out with the smartWARE setup after editing is complete.

In this example, a role with two rights is created. The role has the designation SetSetpoints and the rights have the designations Setpoint_Controller and Setpoint_Generator.

Then the role is assigned to the new user Supervisor.

Each user must have the role CodesysUiRole so that the user also appears in the CODESYS.
