Setpoint settings
The settings for the setpoints are made in smartWARE Setup in the area Configuration under :Home: > PLC configuration > Prog. generator > Program generator x > Setpoint settings.
Setpoint setting
For each setpoint, you can specify whether a setpoint change takes place as a step or in the form of a ramp.

Setpoint limits
The setpoint limits and tolerance band limits (setpoint 1) are specified here. You can also set the number of decimal places and assign an individual name for each setpoint.

Setpoints for manual mode
For manual mode, certain values can be specified. This relates to all setpoints, tolerance band and the control contacts.
These values are also used if the program generator has been configured as a fixed value generator.
