How do I remove the error message "Controller communication error"?

If the following error message appears, the PLC is searching for a controller that is not connected.

This error can occur in conjunction with the Visu-Templates for the variTRON 300 and 500. A controller module is namely preconfigured on delivery of the Visu-Template. If this is not required in your own application, the controller module can simply be removed from the hardware configuration.

In addition, however, the value for the variable iNumberOfControllerModules must be set to "0" in the global list gvlConfigurationController in the CODESYS application. This means that the PLC no longer attempts to access a controller that no longer exists in the hardware arrangement.
