Tolerance bands
This part describes the parameters of the tolerance bands.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
In use | This switch defines the use and the visibility of the tolerance band in smartWARE Program. |
Actual value | This selection defines an actual value that is compared to its setpoint. |
Lower deviation min. value | This value defines the smallest possible input value for the lower deviation value. Entering a permissible deviation of the actual value from 0 in smartWARE program, deactivates the tolerance band. To avoid this deactivation, the lower limit must be set > 0. The input is in base unit. |
Lower deviation max. value | This value defines the largest possible input value for the lower deviation value. The input is in base unit. |
Upper deviation min. value | This value defines the smallest possible input value for the upper deviation value. Entering a permissible deviation of the actual value from 0 in smartWARE program, deactivates the tolerance band. To avoid this deactivation, the lower limit must be set > 0. The input is in base unit. |
Upper deviation max. value | This value defines the largest possible input value for the upper deviation value. The input is in base unit. |
Event type | This selection defines the eventtype behavior in case of an deviation. Possible selections are:
|
Tolerance band behavior | This selection defines the program behavior in case of an deviation. Possible selections are:
|
The tolerance bands must be configured in the JUMO smartWARE Setup variTRON. They can be found as follows:
Configuration > PT Configuration > Process step > 'Name' > Definition > Tolerance bands
