Different concepts
Different concepts can be realized for the system type definition. To show two common concepts, an application of the food industry is used here.

In this example, system type definitions can be made using the type designation or its properties.
Because of the similarity of the two systems, a definition using properties is recommended.
This would allow a common use of different process steps.
