System requirements
Installing and operating JUMO smartWARE Evaluation places certain requirements on the operating system in terms of computer capacity, disk space, and network connection. It is necessary that the requirements described below are met in order to ensure fault-free installation and smooth operation of the application.

250 GB SSD hard disk drive (memory capacity depends on the number of measuring channels to be recorded)

Depending on the configuration, the application has to process a high volume of data. It is recommended that only computers with SSDs and a fast network connection are used.
The computer should have Intel® i7, i5, or newer with at least 4 cores or a comparable processor. At least 16 GB of RAM is also recommended.
High-performance virtual computers can also be used.
Docker (only for Linux operating system)
The Linux application is operated on a Docker system. Docker must be installed as a basis.

Memory capacity
Volumes of data that are saved on the operating system are generated during software operation. The required memory capacity primarily depends on the following three main factors:
Memory cycle of the groups configured in the recorder
Number of analog and digital channels
Recording period.
The amount of memory required can be determined roughly using the following formula:
Quantity of data [MByte] = number of channels × number of days × 1.9775 / memory cycle [s]
Further factors that impact the amount of memory required are batches, device events, and report documents generated in JUMO smartWARE Evaluation. The set evaluation time range (warm data) also has an impact on the amount of memory required. Since only the last x days are always prepared, it is a constant amount of memory.
